Wow one of the worst deals ever. Please read the fine print. Interest charge of 34.7% begins today. A fee for each payment. A finance charge..sure you save a few bucks but you also give them a lot of fees and personal info
It did not ask me for ssn
From the Zip details:

Nah.

The Zip FAQ suggests you can pay it off early.. so there is that.
This page: https://www.newegg.com/promotions...index.html says it is interest free, while also mentioning the interest rate in the fine print. Strange...
There seems to be an installment fee you can't avoid, probably around $6.

Would've been a sweet deal a year ago. With the 5000 series just around the corner there are way better deals to come. I'd wait at least for the Ti or Super variants before pulling the trigger.

I feel like it's not often you see Nvidia cards bundled with a game. I could be wrong but I think that tells you something.

That is a scam from Nvidia. Your max resolution with upscaling would be 2k.

Nvidia and retailers trying to dump stock as much as possible before the 5000 series debuts in January. Great time to be shopping for the 4000 series if you don't plan to wait for the new stuff.

Beware. Checking out with with Zip triggers a credit check. For some reason, they denied my purchase and I have an 800+ credit score.

People have been saying this kind of stuff about GPUs since the beginning...
Wait, wait, wait... never seems worth it.

They have already hacked every major credit bureau\company as well as or SS#'s in the US. Companies\hospitals dont even report this stuff anymore. I worked at a couple of them that have tried to hide it from their customers and patients. Our personal info is already out there.

The 5000 series should be announced in January at CES, but the deals on the 4000 are already starting to pop. Truly slick deals are still ahead.

What are you even on about? The major GPU releases happen every 2 years. If you really need one now then buy it, but most people can wait a couple more months to get the latest and greatest or to buy the last gen on a deep discount. I'd rather not be kicking myself for the next 5+ years for getting it wrong.

Nope. I think they're targetting folks with low credit scores as their customers. They want those crazy high interest rate payments. I always pay my stuff of right away and churn through a bunch of credit card deals in the process for free money.

There's always going to be a pending release from either AMD or NVIDIA.. Or an announcement of one... Or some tariff... Or something.

A midrange card like this is not going to drop that much due to a release. Realistically, how much lower do you think a 4070 will get in a few months? You'd kick yourself for 5+ years for that? Seriously?
