It might fall a bit more, but I think Garmin is a little off the deep end with the fenix 8 prices. If this falls too much no one will spend $1K on a fenix 8.
I have a 965 because the fenix is a little too bulky to wear 24/7 IMO, but if you dont mind I'd buy it.

I have my share of Garmins and am wearing my Tactix Delta right now...
That said, as a Forerunner 965 owner I don't need to upgrade but if I had, it would definitely be the Fenix 7. Pricing for the Fenix 8 is absolutely insane. No idea who their target audience is but they've priced out most triathletes (like myself). That's a pretty big achievement considering the cost of everything related to Tri.
