What's up with all the digital deals from GS? Are they not selling physical games anymore?

More profit and can't be resold would be my guess.

Ehhh more profit for Nintendo and the game publisher. Definitely not for GameStop though. Their profit margin on digital games is surely miniscule. If you see deals like this then it's because it's promoted via the partnership with the platform holder (in this case Nintendo) and not because GameStop is really going to directly benefit from it. Buying and selling used games/items are their bread and butter when it comes to profit margin, not digital game sales.
