oh man, this is a good deal and very tempting.........had my eye on this line of abu rods for a while but didn't want to pay full price, ended up buying something else so now i don't really have a need.

You made the right choice. I had a Veritas and an Ike casting (bought over 50% off sale). Neither of them feels good (too stiff) so ended up selling both later. Full price is a joke.

I've been using the 6'9" medium-light spinning rod for almost three years now, and it has performed flawlessly. I've had no issues at all. For the price, it's a great rod.
