2019 surface pro x running arm-based SQ1 cpu, soon dumped as open-boxes cheap at BestBuy 50%+ off.
Then Surface Pro X running sq2 was released, ditto - dirt cheap open boxes at BestBuy.
SP9 arm, and now SP11 SnapX arm.
....
These arm tablets aren't worth more than $400~ at best due to their huge incompatibility with regular X64/x86 windows apps, drivers, etc.
Ie. From 2019 until today, that's dog-dog years in computers, Microsoft STILL can't run a ton of apps and games, even VPNs on its ARM-based surfaces because it's freaking lazy or dumb in managing the compatibility emulator....despite billions of dollars in the bank and zillions of programmers.
This means - everyone buying ARM should expect incompatibility issues and NO guarantee of any support. MS simply hasn't cared much, doesn't care much if you run anything except Office, Teams, Outlook, and Edge - ie. Basic office worker tasks.
.....
If one Must buy a new Surface Pro, the Surface Pro 10 for business running a proper Intel CPU (or sp9 Intel model) are smarter choices.
Alternatively, it looks like Best Buy also has a bundle for $900 with the Surface Pro Keyboard. Without the Micro Center potential, this would be a no brainer. Tough choice then since I assume it wouldn't price match against Micro Center if they did still have it for $800 on Tuesday. Also, I prefer the Flex Keyboard + pen, for the wireless capability. I would only get this one to sell the keyboard to recoup some cost.

The safest option would be to get both models, but I don't want to return excessively.
