It's Probably THE worst screwdriver I own; switching the direction is just a PITA and the overall size... HUGE. Get the Milwaukee; that's the smoothest I've ever used.

I actually like this. Haven't tried the Milwaukee, but this is insanely handy to have around. Only negative is if you need to get to a really recessed hole, the bulkiness of it will prevent you from accessing it.

Glad I got this one when it was available. The storage case folds to be fairly compact and bit changeout is pretty easy.

I own 4 of these and I like them. Other poster is right, it's tough to switch them from screw out to in, but it's smooth as silk when using them. Bits are in the handle.

The one negative I have is that it doesn't come with and Allen bits, which sucks because there are some very common sizes.

Otherwise I'd be buying more.

Definitely not the highest quality, the direct select is very easy to bump and the storage compartment constantly gets unscrewed with my palm when tightening a screw.

All that said I bought it like five years ago to get me by while in grad school and have beat the piss out of it and it's still going.

For $10 if says it a great stocking stuffer for family members who aren't going to use it everyday and just need a selection of bits for household stuff.

I used this screwdriver to take apart a couple hundred computers to upgrade. It wasn't the most enjoyable experience, but it did save time and wear on my wrist. I ended up buying an electric screwdriver after that gig - it's faster and better ergonomically.

For $10 it's an OK deal. I'd just as soon use a regular screwdriver for smaller projects.

Unfortunately this isn't the same screwdriver as you're mentioning. That one had a QL3 drive that accepted precision bits as well as 1/4" and the 1/4 bits were in the screwed-in storage compartment. Last I looked, that screwdriver sells north of 100 on ebay. This one has better storage with an open compartment, but doesn't accept precision bits. It's still quite a handy device and I gifted these to my coworkers last year, but I preferred the original.

I'll agree. I like this one well enough but it doesn't have the right bits, the bits seem like they'll be hard to find, and the old one was simply better. I do love the smooth ratchet tho. I'm not sure how that works but it's pretty amazing.

I have the older version of this. It's actually pretty useful around the house.

You have a link for that one? Is it this but ratcheting/speed drive?

Right? Square is like China playground equipment of Amazon. It's rare.
