Tbh, it's basically personal preference between the Bose and the Sony. Both will be a step or two above the Beats.

Bought the refurbished from BOSE for 143$ and received it. It looks like new one and comes with hard case. I received it after 2 days. It is very light weight but the sound quality is fantastic. I feel like every songs sound very fantastic.

Pretty good deal considering refurbs themselves from bose are $159 + coupon. But these don't have the hard case

The refurb ones from Bose don't show hard cases but the soft ones in their pictures of what's included. Have others gotten hard cases?

Personally I'd prefer getting these new from Costco (if there ever is an issue Costco will make it right) and buying a used hard case on eBay vs used refurbished headphones from Bose with *maybe a new hard case.
