I, as the customer, have had to train half a dozen different employees on how to use this in their own POS after watching a manager do it the first time. It will always require manager approval each and every time too so it is painful to consume these across a bunch of small purchases. It is a great discount but so painful to use each time.

I bought this last time and it took 20 minutes and 3 people in the store to figure out how to use it in their system. It's different than normal giftcards. This is obviously location dependent, but FYI if you run into issues.

I once ordered an item for pickup. Email said "curbside, call when you arrive" I call, this guy is absolutely clueless on what curbside is. I ran in, no big deal. Just thought that was funny. Maybe they don't have the brightest staff.

My local ACE refused to even bother to scan my gift card purchased last time and accused me of using a scam gift card. If you are planning to use it online, it is fine. Buyers beware!

I've had a similar experience with these PayPal gift cards as others. They do work, but both of my local Aces had serious problems using them. Best to think of these as online only (with pickup delivery possible).

I bought about five of these online to buy Benjamin Moore paint for pickup. No issues.

Spot on. My local Ace hardware eventually figured out to use the "Bank card" option in their system.

Ughhh, Limit 1. I there no way to buy a Stihl chainsaw for a discount? I was hoping to buy several of these to get 20% off the saw.

It's a good deal but Ace digital gift cards are a pain. I did this same deal last year and the gift card number was in some sort of review status due to some issue when a bunch of these got issued. I had to call customer service to get the card unlocked. My local store had no clue how to use a digital card and struggled to get their the POS to accept it. Ended up spending it online.

In store I assume? I'm trying something similar for a larger purchase.
