$75 trade in value is only for wireless Samsung buds, generic wireless buds are $50 and there's no option to trade in wired headphones (like it was possible for Buds FE).

The 3s sound way better - in fact, they are the first wireless earbuds I've come across that sound as good as my high-end wired earbuds. This price is not as exciting, though - I will wait for $70ish after trade-in.

Looks like I got some type of Early Access discount, along with a promo discount, not sure how
Promo discount is greater than EDU for me (17.15). That's the price difference.

If you are willing to bite on this deal and have prime membership, woot has bunch of crap bluetooth earbuds for $5, which I assume disposable at some point. You can grab one of these for trade in.

I preordered when they were announced, got them for $75 after discounts (with edu and trade in $100 old 1gen AirPods). They are okay. They don't come with different sized bud sizes, the light on the side only functions with android devices/not Apple). My 1 negative comment would be the scent of the earbuds smells like cheap plastic/rubber, like the cheap stuff you get from China or Ali Express.

I preordered back in July for my GF, she was using the Samsung buds FE. Her ears hurt after a few minutes of use no matter how they are adjusted. I tried them out and after 10 minutes I had to take them out. There are a lot of similar complaints online. The FE fit great for me and are what she still uses.

I have these and i prefer my old buds 2 over these...

The buds 3 pro "fit" but fall out randomly and require adjustment regularly.
Opposite experience for me. The 3 pros fit far better, don't fall out, and don't require adjustment compare to my Buds 2. I think this is because of ear shape which is different person to person.

I bought these when it first came out. Tried to switch the tips because they did not match my ears. There's no instructions on how to do that and I even contacted Samsung and they don't have any idea either. I broke the tip while trying to remove them. So I returned them. I took a video when packing the item before shipping it back. Few days or weeks later, I received an email from Samsung telling me they will not refund me because the item is lost. They included a video in the email where you can clear see the shipping box was already opened by someone. They then pretend to open it again and the earbuds top package is inside but the bottom package including the buds are gone. Contacted Samsung back and forth multiple times and each time they promised me of fixing it and refund me. But at the end, they always change their minds and said no. Never buy from Samsung again. Horrible company. I'm not a Samsung hater. I own multiple Samsung phones, buds, tablets, appliances. No more Samsung for me!
Thank you for sharing this story. I actually decided against buying these buds after reading this. No way I'm giving them my business after pulling these kind of shenanigans against customers.

I'm in the same boa as you. Using the early access code, education savings, trade in, etc, and it still comes out to $109.84 which ofc is the advertised deal at $97.74 pre-tax but I'm not sure how people are getting it down further.

I personally hate my Galaxy Buds+ they fall out of my ear constantly, whereas my original galaxy buds fit fine. I've tried using the tips from my original buds as others have suggested and that keeps them in longer, but they eventually fall out too. It's annoying and I regret purchasing them. I'm hoping these will be different/better, though I really do hate the "airpod" look of them.

Usually tax isn't ridiculous, but in this case it's supposedly ~$15 or so. Total after taxes is ~$97.

My buds live are probably 3 years old at least, at this point, but still hard paying nearly $100 for these as there seems to be a lot of mixed reviews.

The buds 3 pro are pretty good and think ~$100 is a decent deal. I use them for meetings, everyday listening, traveling. Noise-cancelling on a plane is fine.

I'll wear them doing some workouts but for running use Jabra 75t active. Those I've been using three or four years with a lot of sweat. The buds 3 pro sound better but not sure I'd run with them. Sad Jabra is stopping consumer lines of earbuds.

Same here, the want 12.38% tax on these things, they did the same thing w/ their watches during the Galaxy Watch 7 sale a few months back. Pretty ridiculous. Sub $100 I'd probably bite, but w/ them being over I'll just hold on to my current pair. For me it's the "stupid Snorks airpod look" that really kills it for me. It's hideous.
