I enjoy the buds 2 pro design in that it won't really catch on anything.

Anyone have both? I know sound is personal but just wondering if the 3's are much better in the sound department vs the 2 pros.

$75 trade in value is only for wireless Samsung buds, generic wireless buds are $50 and there's no option to trade in wired headphones (like it was possible for Buds FE).

I have both.. the 3 pros are louder and a tad bit more refined but very minor. Anc is better on the 2s but that could be due to the seal in my ear. Voice calls are somewhat better on the 3 pros.

Once added to cart, I get the message discount limit exceeded and the price jumps up to $112. Does anyone else see this?

Use PayPal with Chase to get additional 5% CB. I, however, wasn't able to replicate this deal on laptop browser to take advantage of 10% cb from famous cb site. Could only order on the Samsung app.

If you used Edu discount on buds earlier in the year, then you see this message. I'm not sure and don't quote me but it allows edu discount only 2 times on the product.

I really like the sound over my buds 2 pro, and I like the look as well, especially with the optional lights settings on stem. The case was cool, but I feel like that clear lid will get scratched over time.
The reason why I ended up returning it cause I thought the stems were difficult to use comparing to the buds 2 pro with the taps. You have you find this hidden button on the stems to click in it, but maybe with time, you willl probably get used to it. Also, I think Samsung tried to make the ear tip connectors too fancy cause when I remove them, I feel like the drivers were going to come out too (known problem but I believe Samsung as fixed this issue but still).
And at that time, with my buds 2 pro trade-in, it would have be like $170 out of my pocket. So, I didn't think it was worth it.

Yeah the workaround is to create a new account.

The 3s sound way better - in fact, they are the first wireless earbuds I've come across that sound as good as my high-end wired earbuds. This price is not as exciting, though - I will wait for $70ish after trade-in.

As others have said, the 3s without a doubt have both better bass and a much better sound stage reminiscent to open back headphones. Call quality jump was the most noticeable. The ANC does pretty well given the design change, not plugging the ear as much. Different tips, such as double flange, will basically seal as well. The main reason I keep the 2 pros around is I prefer the touch capacitive sensors for yard work and when wearing gloves to bump with my arm and the lab feature for volume by tapping my ear. I'm hoping at least the latter comes to the 3 pros in an update.

I'm a big believer in dual (and more) amplification per channel. You can take 2 sets of the crapiest Goodwill speaks, send mid/high+ frequencies to one and mid/low- frequencies to the other and they'll sound pretty nice. When I heard the Buds 3 Pro have dual amps that's when I decided to get them. They sound noticiablly better than the Buds Pro and any other earbuts I've used.

Not just the sound is better but everything. I can actually pause, skip, go to previous track, and change volume. Not the case for other wireless earbuds. The noise cancelling is noticibly better too. The only thing I dont like is you cant use standard tip replacements, but that might have been a necessary design sacrifice. Overall I think this is my end game wireless earbuds.
