We're talking $20-$30 off the usual Microcenter price over the last few months. The best budget AM4 gaming CPU for sure but I wish they had a budget gaming bundle...

at this price point, i want all of the pc parts to be in "best bang for buck" level, if I consider buying this cpu just for the purpose of gaming at 1080p or even at QHD level with mid level settings using mid-tier level gpu cards. mixing with expensive parts does not make any sense anymore considering this am4 platform is phasing out.

Exactly I opted to go with the 5600X for $85 ($110-$25 coupon) at MC instead as part of the AM4 combo from Newegg that MC PM, because it's the better deal and I can always get a used 5700X3D down the road if I need more CPU power.
