Even without the hoops, $749.99 for a RTX4070 TI Super is the best deal I can find for that card. Still though, better deals should be coming over the next couple weeks.
The EDU only drops $5 from the total. The biggest discount is the ZIP Pay. I attempted but it didn't like the CC I was trying to use, so it didn't work for me.

I believe Chase and Capitol One cc's don't work. debit cards do though
Interesting deal. Unfortunately, I live in an area with 10.25% sales tax. I save more by paying list on a 4070ti at B&H using my Payboo card to nuke the tax.
Unless you want to put this under the tree or game over holiday breaks, I'd wait. I think there's a good chance AMD or maybe even Intel will have a 4070-tier competitor out for $350-$400 by the end of January. AMD might be able to match 4070TiS tier for $550-600 (rumor is 4080-tier for $500, but I'm rounding down on the performance and up on the price).
Production of all Nvidia Ada Lovelace (RTX 40xx series) above AD107 (RTX 4060) has reportedly ended and transitioned to Blackwell (RTX 50xx). That means the 4070-tier and up are in the final stages of clearing out stock. Depending on the amount of stock left, we could see better deals or we could see prices start to rise again (like they have on 4090).
That said, if you also want this game at release, this is one of the best deals we've seen so far, and there's no guarantee prices will go lower.
In for 1 for my new build and was debating between this or the 7900xt to pair with my inbound 9800X3D for multi-montior 1440p with the option to go 4K setup. Figured get in on this and worse comes to worse and a better deal drops, I can always cancel/return
I purchased it, Thanks! I was going to wait for the 5000 series, but with tariffs and the expectation of a price increase, the 4070 TI Super for under $700 after tax is an incredible deal.
Sometimes you add 200 more and buy a whole PC build up and get the video card included
I've been watching closely for several months. To my knowledge there has not been a computer from any manufacturer that is new (not used or refurbished) that included a 4070 ti super card for under $900. Last black friday I bought a computer from costco that included a 4060ti for right at $1k and that was heavily discounted from normal pricing. This year we may see them under $900. BUT....Saying you can "sometimes" add $200 and get a whole computer with a video card thrown in does not equal getting a 4070ti super GPU in that system.
There is a difference, and it is VERY significant if gaming. GAming is the market that is targeted by this level of GPU. Saying you can add $400-500 more would get you in the ballpark, but it will likely sacrifice on the CPU, MB, Memory, etc. from what would normally be paired with a midlevel GPU like this. The next level up (and it's a small fps difference at or below 1440) would be a 4080 and those cards were $1k alone not long ago with computers costing over $2k at a significant discount.
