Project Farm did a review on it and it does have the Force Start feature to jump dead batteries.
This is the cheapest I've seen it.

What is Force Start?
That similar to the 'Boost' button on older jump starters?

My 400A battery jumper wouldn't start my dead battery when i pressed the 'Boost' button.

Borrowed my neighbor's 1000A battery jumper.
Pressed the Boost button and it jumped the car.

But is 6000 amps overkill?!
I have a 4 cyl car, not a 12 cyl Mercedes armored car.

Great Deal. Clip $50 coupon, then add X89QXAY4 code, and then REFRESH CART PAGE to get $52.42 after tax deal. Without refresh the code doesn't seem to go through = $106.

I tried that Type S one from costco and it was very lacking. Maybe I got a dud but it felt very cheaply built, and i went to jump my 4.6L gas engine from a nearly dead battery and it failed miserably, tried to crank briefly but ended up going to 0% really quick. I jumped the car with regular cables after that and it fired up. I returned it and went back to the Amazon bazaar for a better unit. There are several more powerful options for like half the price.

I'm assuming it's called Boost on competing brands?

Me and my neighbor's jump starters (different brands) both have a button that says 'Boost'. (see my thread above about one not working and one that worked for a dead battery)

I would pass.

Did the starting price just increase? Showing $169.99 - $50 - $57.80 + $3.89 tax = $66.08 for me

Edit: my mistake, didn't see it was for prime members only

Just purchased for $49 deal is still working as of 11/19 morning. Without Prime the total was like $62, but Amazon offered me a 30 day free Prime trial which I accepted, which then brought the total down to $49 after clipping the coupon AND adding the discount code at checkout

It's more accurately rated. This avapow, even though I bought it, can not actually output 6000A, maybe real world 700 cranking amps at most.

$169 clicked the cupon and it said cupon applied but still says $169 got all the way to final pirchase page and tjere was no option to ad a code.
I put a different item in my card and the option to ad a code is available.
No discount at all for me
