I've actually been holding out for the slightly different subcompact version of this tool (xrj07ZB), but it never seems to go on sale since it first came out a couple years ago.
edit: ok i've done more research and changed my tune. I was actually unaware of this model, it's even newer than the XRJ07. It is $143 new on amazon right now, but camelcamelcamel is giving weird data that seems to indicate this is a historic low. Currently retailing for $160-180 at other online sellers. There's virtually no comparison online between this and the other brushless compact makita that I mentioned, but I pieced together that this one seems to be superior for most needs (both brushless, similar dimensions, slightly longer stroke and slightly faster cutting speed), and most importantly it supposedly has even less vibration than the 07 which is something that people praised about that model. In for 1.
