I miss those 2023 deals so much. 2TB high performance drives with DRAM for $90 from various retailers. I hope we can get that during this BF. I'm crossing my fingers for us
man i just want a good deal on the 2tb and 4tb, whichever comes first from this or samsung's 990 pro
Probably not going to happen. Micron, Samsung, etc. are too busy colluding.

Been eyeing a good deal on the 8TB SN850x with heatsink to stick in the ps5 pro. Has anyone done such madness yet and can confirm it fits/works well ?

Use a 3rd party heat sink and save a ton of cash. It fits and works well.

This is for 8tb. We don't have control over pricing, maybe post in those threads?
You're not entirely wrong but you could be getting thumbs down because I always find it best to just thumb up or down comments instead of tell people they're talking wrong and to bug off to another thread

(Me realizing I'm telling someone that they're talking wrong oops)

Ok have nice day

8tb needs to be under $400 for mainstream adoption. The next gen 16-20tb has already been in enterprise servers

Mee too, but those were due to nand market crash and Samsung even stopped production for a while then. We will get there again, but will be a while.

The WD Black 4TB can be had for $260 at most retailers right now, which might be about as low as it's going to go this year. I'm holding out for some better Samsung 4TB deals
