Just bought this at my local Best Buy yesterday to replace an old spinny HDD.....massive upgrade on my boot times. Purchased a 64GB flash drive for $8 to make the windows bootable media and was easier able to put my OS on this NVME......I can't believe I waited this long to upgrade it, insanely faster

The purchase history is bullshit. I bought this exact piece in October for $122. Still, it's a decent deal.

Jesus... you have a PC that supports NVME but were booting from a spinning sata drive, not even a sata SSD? Yes that is a massive upgrade, enjoy the new again computer.

Code IPC1124 knocks $4.50 off which makes it $91.47 shipped (for me). Now I'm debating if this is overall a better deal compared to the SN850X which I got down to $124.22 -- $32.75 difference, DRAM vs no DRAM (mostly gaming use which from what I gather doesn't get effected by DRAM) and I have no interest in using it as an external.

Update: Ended up pulling the trigger on it. Tried three different cards for payment and all came back with issue. Used Paypal (which used the same card I first tried) and worked fine. Thank you for pointing out this drive Teaser38!

Is this is good SSD for PS5? This drive is still for $90 as of today. Thinking of pulling the trigger but not sure. If I need a heat sink with this can someone point me to which one can i use with this MSI drive?

youre about 10 years too late on SSds. i understand being hesitant before 2014, but i would say 2014 is about the time when the prices had droped all the way to where the average consumer could easily afford one. i had bought a 256gb drive at 130 and i thought it was a steal.(obviously it wasnt enogh storage for all my media so i had an additional hdd to store my files , but boot times completely changed)
and today im about to buy this one with 2tb for 10 bucks less than what i paid for 256 gb 10 years ago
