I have been researching monitors hours per day, for days. Finding a reasonably priced monitor with good integrated speakers is near impossible. This monitor has great (for integrated) speakers. I can finally stop researching! I bought this. Thanks OP.

Someone on the other post mentioned the text was an issue on G2724D. I'd like to get two of these for work.

I have 2 of the G2724D's for my main computer setup (2nd and 3rd screens) and just bought 2 more for my work setup. Text is absolutely not an issue on these at all. I'm betting the person had it set to some oddball resolution and not 1440p, which will cause text to be fuzzy for sure.

I would 100% go for the G2724D before the one in this deal.

Thank You for the response. I checked both of these monitors and they have the power button on the back. Do these designers not understand that some people have monitors side by side and it is a PITA to turn these on and off?

I have to keep looking I guess for another one

The power button on the G2724D is actually on the bottom right lip. The other controls are on the back, which I very much dislike. But in reality, I'm hardly going into them after I set what I want.

How thick are the bezels on the G2724D? I'm planning a dual-monitor setup for WFH, and from the pictures in Amazon reviews, the S2725DS looks great with its very thin bezels.

G2724D is better for gaming for sure, but for almost anything else, the monitor in this thread (S2725DS) is better. It has one of the best contrast ratios (1500:1) of any IPS monitor as well as pretty good integrated speakers. Content on the screen will look better and your desk space will look cleaner (if you can get by with the integrated speakers).

Also, the base stand is flat on the S2725DS, allowing you to more easily place things on it like a wireless phone charger etc.

Bought this a month or so ago for someone at work, no complaints, great office monitor at a fair price, might grab another for the reception station.
