One of these I had outside bricked after a little over a year. It likely got water inside, per YouTube. Also, warranty on this is crap, even after an extended warranty from a credit card.

I've had 2 of 3 of these fail on me in barely a year of usage. In CA with minimal rain and mostly shaded coverage. No warranty available for replacement, pretty expensive waste of money. Avoid

I got the Best Buy protection on mine. Got them replaced last week after having them for 4 years. Didn't have any issues with the cameras either.

If you have the flood light cam eufy 340 camera or planning on getting it, I wouldn't recommend getting these solar cameras. After adding the 340, the solar cameras would at random times go offline and back online. This would affect the all cameras at the same time. If I resync one camera they would all come back online. Got tired of doing resyncing, I just let it do its thing. It spends most of the time offline though, so it's super frustrating. Until this issue is fixed, I would not recommend these solar cameras.

I purchased the Eufy Security SoloCam S40 with a gutter mount that wasn't officially listed as compatible over 2yrs ago, but it worked perfectly. Despite Florida's harsh weather and hurricanes, the camera has stayed securely attached and continues to function well. Although the surface looks worn from exposure, its performance remains unaffected. I didn't expect it to last this long, but it has exceeded my expectations. And I'm glad i didn't have to drill holes on my exterior wall. Wondering how these models compare. Anticipating camera will fail at some point from water intrusion or solar/battery failure.
