In for 1 27,650mAh with base to add to my collection of Anker power banks. Can anyone else relate to the urge to regularly buy these? There needs to be a support group. I've only used my C300 once and haven't even opened my 200w and 250w charging stations. The 10k and 20k mAh zolos get used daily though. Ugh.

Did pick up the 27650 when it was on sale at woot for $99? That one was just the power bank though.

I think certain items you buy for the potential
Notebooks, flashlights, backpacks, etc
It's not the item itself but the potential you see if you have them
What are you going to charge, what are you going to write, what are you going to see
Can anyone explain it like I'm 5 why anyone would choose the OP's deal over the deal in this comment?
Multiple reasons. Here are some
Cant carry 288wh on the plane
288wh doesn't fit in a bag or a big pocket (even though OP power bank is pretty chunky) to be as portable.
That being said just FYI there have been a lot of issues and failures reported for these power banks (in the title) and that the customer support is terrible.
Also, I got $99 deal from woot and updated the firmware. Charged S8 Ultra tablet (10,000mah battery) from 8%. Power bank died at 94% in the tablet. Might return it after another test
I have this bank without the base on a previous deal. It works really well for my use-case, which is mostly to power a laptop (2021 HP Spectre x360) on the go. Max input to this laptop is 65w and this bank gives me 60-65w. It's enough to completely charge my laptop from 0-100% 1 time. I've used this to power other things no problem as well, such as my Samsung phone, Samsung tablet, Samsung earbuds, DJI drone batteries, etc.
The capacity is just under the 100Wh limit from the TSA, meaning you can carry it on a plane no problem. I took a cursory view of national (USA) and international airlines sites and all domestic airlines and just about all international ones also allow 100Wh unrestricted. Carry-on only since it is Li-Ion batteries: https://www.tsa.gov/travel/securi...ess-device
A YouTuber I follow says he can also use this bank to power a Starlink Mini for 4-5 hours. This could be good for situations where power is down.
Get it directly from the Anker website for the same price, and you'll also receive a free Anker Nano Power Bank (12W, with a built-in Lightning Connector).
