Careful with this...bought this a over a year ago and all the sudden motion detection stopped working. I have reset and tried everything. No luck with support and I am out of warranty.

It all depends on how much you use.
our average use is 6x a day and some motion detection. It has been lasting around 3 to 4 months.
I like how fast the fingerprint sensor is, faster than the Eufy S230 I have in the front door.
I hope it helps.

It's pretty straightforward since it doesn't have extra functionalities like the E330, but like I said in the previous post, the fingerprint response takes a second to sense your finger and unlock/lock the door. The battery life is about 4 months.
BTW I just checked, and I have the S330 version, not the one posted by OP. From what I see, the main difference is the Water Resistance rating, S330 IP65 and E330 IP53, and pricing, the S330 is more expensive.

Thanks for the update.

Eufy has launched new e30 smart lock as well, but it has aa batteries compared to the s230 in built battery

You are welcome.

Yes, that model has compatibility with Apple Home as well. and Water Resistance is IP53, I didn't go with this one because of the looks, I rather have the keyhole hidden. I hope it helps you figure it out if this is for you or not. Happy shopping!

Had it for a year or two. Maybe every 3 months? 4 people in the house. Usb c battery. Charges quick and really just don't pay attention to it much. I just plug it in one night when it needs it and place the battery back in once I leave that morning.

2.5 years is what this lock lasted. Bad keyboard. The lock works if the keyboard is disconnected, but then what's the point ? Eufy declined to support product failure quoting warranty period of 18 months.

New to smart lock. Is this a good deal for a smart lock with cam? Or are there any other better alternatives?

I have the Eufy Dual Camera doorbell and I've also had nothing but unreliability with the motion detection and more specifically the Eufy app - videos just DO NOT LOAD and the app is crap IMO.. had Ring before and never had these kinda issues

Battery is fine. It definitely misses a lot of motion though.

Get a backup/replacement battery...i think it lasts 3-4 months on a charge.. I'm only one month in and no issues so far. The way i see it, if you want to hardwire a video doorbell but also get a smart deadbolt, you're going to have to replace batteries on the deadbolt at some point. with a backup battery, you can quickly swap it out and charge the dead one.

it has good human recognition, alerts and fast replay.
also feels well built and was easy to install.
