Absolutely amazing deal. Currently on a 3 credits for $1 each deal and sadly it doesn't end till Dec 7th so will probably miss this one but ty
Here are books I've read recently and recommend (mostly a scifi theme):
Project Hail Mary By: Andy Weir
The Fellowship of the Ring By J. R. R. Tolkien (Andy Serkis Version)
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: A Song of Ice and Fire By: George R. R. Martin
We Are Legion (We Are Bob): Bobiverse, Book 1 By: Dennis E. Taylor
World War Z: The Complete Edition: An Oral History of the Zombie War By: Max Brooks
Leviathan Wakes By: James S. A. Corey
11-22-63 By Stephen King
Wool: The Silo Saga, Book 1 By: Hugh Howey
The Stand By: Stephen King
The Final Empire Mistborn Book 1 By: Brandon Sanderson
Remember the two golden secrets of Audible. 1) Store unused credits as pre-order audiobook purchases before your subscription runs out. There is no need to use all your credits before your membership ends. When you see a book you want (in or outside of membership), just cancel the pre-order and your credit will be returned. If that pre-order is about to be released and you still haven't used the credit, cancel the pre-order, and use the credit on another pre-order. 2) Return audiobooks you have already listened to for credits. You can usually return up to three audiobooks at a time, but this allowance is often only every couple of months. You can return books up to one year from purchase.
If you're looking for audiobooks to use your monthly credits on, I highly recommend Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential and Medium Raw, both narrated by Bourdain himself.

Hail Mary was really good. And the whole Brandon Sanderson universe is awesome, too (mistborn and others). I like that they have expeditionary force available. Fun series for sure. Is a little corny at times, but still a fun read/ listen.
This morning, I got an Amazon e-mail with the subject "Audible is now included in your plan". It seems like it's not as great as it might sound: "Listen to one audiobook each month", etc.
I am on a free Amazon Music 6-month (I think) trial and have been a Prime member for many years. I just thought I'd mention it, incase anyone else might want to search for it in their e-mail.
It's at the top right on the Audible site, I think it was to the right of how many credits you have available, it shows you have $20 bonus cash (can't recall how it was worded, not logged into my husband's account atm to check, but it's real obvious once it's there).
Audible must be feeling the pinch from Spotify who offer 15 hours of audiobooks a month along with their music offerings. I listened to World War Z, The Storyteller (Dave Grohl), and The Testaments. It's a surprising addition that's worth the cost, though the 15-hour limit is grating.
Audible currently has a 2 titles for 1 credit deal for Audible Premium Plus members that expires on November 23, so with my first credit I got "Artemis" by Andy Weir and "Wool" by Hugh Howey!
It doesn't include all the titles in the catalog but it is for the best rated books on Goodreads so a large amount of some of the highest rated books.
After I signed up and logged into audible.com (not amazon) along the top it says I have 1 credit available and then to the right of there it says "Discount Balance: $20.00".
Anyone know if I can use the $20 credit and the monthly credit on audio books that I can gift to another account?
I've done it in the past with credits, but it seems like it let me gift just one credit and then no more when I had the membership on special offer - but I think that was an offer of 3 months completely free. I think you probably can gift all of them when you're paying .99 a month, but not sure. I'd say you almost surely can, and if you can't, you're out .99 and will still be able to buy a book that's not on the account you ideally want it on.
The rules are a little different if you're paying for the membership, and Audible changes the rules from time to time, so you can never know for sure if it will work the same as it did before. For instance, I've put my .99 membership on pause before, but tried it with a completely free trial, and it wouldn't let me do it (even though it had in the past). At one point, it seems like some said they couldn't put their .99 membership on pause, but later you could again.
