Commented on this deal last year with my setup. It's nice that it's gotten cheaper. Used to come with a free screen. There's a good review posted there too. There are better cheap projectors out there, but very likely not at this price. This was well worth 50 dollars a year ago.

On the account that I have Prime, the starting price is $119.99 and the final price after the coupon and the promo code is $61.On another account that is not Prime, the starting price is $79.99. It does accept both the coupon and the promo code and the final price before tax and california junk fee is 34.39 (43.06 with the junk fees and tax).Shouldn't my Prime account get the lower price, not the opposite?Either way I'm not seeing the $30 final price.

This is really actually a 1080p native projector? For $30? Around 5 years ago I bought a 480p native projector (that was blurry as hell even for a 480p image) for twice that. OK hell with it, going to give this one a try. Frankly for that price I'd be fine with just an image that's marginally discernable. Worst case scenario, it can be accent lighting for a room.

You'd need an incredibly dark room and a small screen/surface. I setup projectors in classrooms and the nice ones were 6000 lumens and this is 240. The higher the lumens the more lights you can have on and the further the projector can be from the screen.
There's no way they were 6000 ANSI lumens, which is the standard to measure these. But if they were, then they were 100x this price.

I've seen this deal or similar pop up a few times and I'm finally buying it. At $30 I really don't see how people are complaining that it might not function in a classroom or outdoor environment as well as a $15,000 set up... I don't think anyone was expecting it to when buying this.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by protecting front and not back? I am considering picking this up for that exact reason (AtmosFX), but I am not understanding why you can't point the projector at the back of a sheet on the window.
If you are watching movies and the projector is either hanging behind you or on the ceiling, that is front projector (most of them are). The back projector is you place behind the screen, you don't see it because you seat infront of the screen. When I want to projects the xmax movie clips to the window, in side the house, the audiences are people on the street walking by. In this case, I need back projector.

I did a research, if you want something like that, get a Vankyo over ebay, about same price or probably 10 bucks more. Most if not all having options front and back projecting.

Keep in mind that I only use these cheap projects for that purpose. Using watching movies as entertaiment is a big no for me.

Prime is supposed to drop $10 from $79.99. I just ordered for $30+tax. Check the seller

Focus I understand. I didn't understand the back projection. Do mean inverting the image? I'm pretty sure there is a menu option if that was the case.
Back project means you place the project behind the screen, not front like most. I even contacted them and their respond was no.

Inverting the image is not the same as back projecting.
