not true at all.
28" 4K no scaling is the sweetspot, for ergonomics.

It's $180...

People really have nothing better to do than parrot these statements over and over day after day? I wish I could get dopamine hits that easily.

It's 1440p. Some people care more about resolution than refresh rate. I'm a UI designer and photographer, so higher resolution is much more important to me.

Why would you assume there's something wrong with it?

It's just on sale.

Take advantage before the tariffs kick in.
Considering there are monitors with apparently similar stats that cost $300, $400, $500+, even from LG itself, why is this one so cheap?

i'm not an expert, but since the everyday price is normally just $249, i kinda doubt this model has the specs equal to or better then those pricier models you mentioned. if not, please correct me.

It's apples to oranges. Those gaming monitors tend to have poor to okay color depth. This is definitely for those who need color accuracy on a budget. Also, anything 100+ Hz hurts my eyes for office use where I need to start a doc or image for long period of time.

I thought more hz is better for the eyes.

Now $176.99 - might have to jump on this, can't be any worse than the no-name brand 4k 27" monitors in the sub-$200 range.

really? 1st time i commented. wasn't mentioned in the OP. I know it's $180 i can read.
There are some monitors that don't cost that much more that have 75, 144, and 160, si it's not a crazy thing to comment. Weird response above

4k on a 27" is perfect. The letters are not small at all.

Would this be a good monitor for basic tasks on Mac Mini M4?
Retina display is 27" 5k, this is less than that and not a native display resolution for MacOS. You are better off with 27" 1440p monitor which is the same resolution of non retina display on a iMac.
