Considering other deals we've been seeing lately, this is not that good of a deal.
I bought this last month when it was on sale for $899 (got it for $850 including tax), but I ended up returning it because this particular Ryzen 7 7435HS doesn't have an iGPU. This means the 4070 (140W) runs all the time, whether you're just browsing or doing light work, resulting in very poor battery life. I barely got an hour and a half.
For someone planning to use it plugged in most of the time (as a desktop substitute), it's definitely worth considering. It has a great screen, a good cooling system, and can handle any AAA title games effortlessly. The RAM isn't soldered; it has two 8GB sticks, so you might want to upgrade it in the future.
