Make sure to read the details. Read through the comments on p 1 of this thread - they may provide useful hints.

Make sure all items are SOLD and SHIPPED by Amazon.

Make sure to enter to promo code and to click Apply. Then scroll down and click on "Use this payment method" if it is shown.

If you get to the page that's shown in the attachment, in Step 1, you click on "Click here to add your eligible card" - you'll have to click through a couple of pages and log into your AmEx account (if you haven't already in the browser) and link your AmEx card to Amazon.

Is the discount one time use per account? I added all 3 of my Amex cards, did not get a message they are not eligible. But after I used the deal for the first time, on the second try I got "the code cannot be applied to your purchase". All items shipped and sold by Amazon.

All items in my order are sold and shipped by Amazon. Yet, the promo code is not accepted. This is on my second Amex card.

The current Discover promo, which usually work for me (probably 75% of the time I'm eligible), this time didn't.
This Amex promo, which had never ever worked for me (always ineligible), worked this time. Go figure.
