That processor is about 1.5 years old now. I ended up going with this Dell at the same price yesterday:

It has a faster and newer processor, but its AMD.

It's not worth it. I would rather give the $50 to get the i7 rather than the 5. It will last longer and has much better speed.

Yes, it is very similar, just AMD versus Intel i7. Another thing I like is the two-year Costco warranty, which is worthwhile.
