After dealing with bullshit from amazons fire sticks, I will never buy a "fire product" ever again. Their shit sucks ass.

If you need a cheap tv or monitor, get the 50in Hisense for $120 or even a sceptre tv. This will only give you issues and make you pull your hair out

Is it worth getting this for $20/more than the 32" insignia?

curious why is that? I have only owned fire sticks and I think they're fine and actually thought a fire tv would be cool to eliminate an additional step.
Things might have changed, but Fire TV's never had the level of control and settings as other Smart TV's do (just my opinion, mind you). For example, (mind you, they may have changed this since I last used a Fire TV) they did not have an option to disable auto power off making them a poor use case for a monitor, and there were other annoyances I can't remember at this point. Fire TV sticks/boxes/etc. were ok because they didn't also need to control the TV, I could switch off of them when I was done using it.

If your budge doesnt exceed $100 and this is the size you need then by all means it is a perfect deal, but there are so many 42" 4k deals for another thirty to fifty bux

Due to space constraints and position, I could honestly use a modern 37" TV with a frameless design to fit where an old 32" with thick plastic frame sits. It's annoying the market only caters to huge TVs now, but I get it. This TV would extend 3" past our old TV's footprint and I don't think it'd work, even with custom VESA pedestal.

Is that 50 inch for $120 a live deal or are you saying it'll drop down to this price at some point?

Mounting TVs on the wall is a game changer it allows you to have a bigger TV and more floor space both win win

How will this be as garage tv ?
A big great garage TV especially if you're into watching YouTube videos while you're in the garage working on something

Well $120 for a 50 inch is a better deal anyways so if it's a current deal then i'd still go for that.

It can be, but for all we know he's working around a fireplace, huge entertainment center, or something else where even a wall mount isn't going to help.

I wouldn't worry about them, they never even commented back with specifics about what they didn't like.
When someone just says something generally stinks and offers no specifics about what they didn't like or how it could be better (especially if it's about another person), I dismiss it. If they can't be bothered to communicate their opinion constructively, why should I listen?

Someone else in this thread actually provided more first-hand specifics than who you responded to, but somehow that original person still had the most popular comment. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
