Is the Master or Slim worth the $400-500 jump for a tiled house with a black Labrador dog? The slim with its dual rollers and stronger suction appears to be the best vacuum for pets...?

Hmm does this have the flexiarm side brushes or not? Rtings says no (see the comparison table for the Qrevo Plus):

Skip this model and get the S for less or pay a little bit more for the Pro with heated water.

Where can the Pro be had for a little bit more? The Target sale was a steal, seems to be going for ~900 today.

The main difference between this and the pro seems to be the hot water washing of the pads. Pro is not on sale yet. Based on reddit comments, it is not worth to spend $400+ extra just for the hot water washing of the pads.

I guess we'll hold out for the Pro at $599.99 then. I have the $70 Roborock discount (attempted to trade-in my S7 but they rejected it because it was refurbed... however, they sent me a $70 "goodwill" coupon for trying lol) and I also got the 18% Capital One offer. So I'd be able to get this down to around $475 after tax, discounts, etc in my zipcode... that still seems like a hefty price to pay either way :T

I want to upgrade the S7 my in-laws have though - they have a hardwood/laminate floor place and the S7 sucks at mopping. It has also damaged part of an area rug they have. The thing is just high maintenance and mediocre when it comes to cleaning their place at least. It's also a pain to empty that dustbin everytime and we don't even go often so it fills up super fast. I'd like to get them something that's lower maintenance and does a better job at mopping especially. I'm just wondering if the S or Plus would do a "good enough" job.

I am not saying the Plus is bad at all. Roborock is the industry leader in innovation but they make over a dozen models of robots every year so they change one option on all their product lineup. The Plus is basically an S but the mop head has an arm to get closer to baseboards or objects, which is about a $50 value not worth hundreds more. Here is a good video on the differences. https://youtu.be/WGlcLwQTaew?si=lpFHjhrhQaQf8b4F

It only has flexiarm for mopping pads. I dont think the side brushes have flexiarm design. However, the side brushes are already well extended outside the body. Based on the videos I have seen, they do a good job of pulling stuff out from corners.
