Seems like a good deal. Hmmm, maybe wait for RTX 5 series?
MSI Shadow 4070 ti super was on sale on newegg for $670 or so a couple days back. Would wait it out for at least a week or two, might see similar or lower prices during black friday sales

It was at that price only if you followed through the ZIP payment process (which entails a soft credit check and essentially opens another pseudo credit card). There has yet to be any good direct discounts on 4070 TI Supers (unless you think this one's $800+ starting price point was fair).

Whats the difference between this and Shadow? 🤔

I'm with you. Trying to hold off for the new generation to come out and potentially get a better deal on the older 40s.
(dont let this go political, just a realistic concern)
I'm still running a 3060ti that covers all my needs (for now), but its getting a little old and i'm a little concerned that if tariffs hit the electronics market hard, i might be priced out from a 5xxx series card...
I'm really considering jumping on this.
$750 for a mid tier graphics card is insanity, and nobody should think this is a "good price"
The **70 line has always been mid tier, and was for budget builds. Now it's the cost of a whole budget build. Sure, its the NEW mid tier champ, but why so much? We're getting same performance at half the cost with the competition.
I like the Expert. It's keeps noise reasonably. It comes with a GPU support and PCIe 8-pin adapter. It looks pretty cool, but if you care, the aesthetics wont work with every build.

Serious question since I haven't shopped for graphics cards in many years. Are you talking about ATI that has the same performance at half the price?

Doubt it will happen immediately in 2025. There is time.

Saw some reviews on the Expert and the thermals look pretty bad in comparison to nearly every other 4070 Ti Super. Unless you need a blower style card you might want to consider other options.
