Yeah, it's Best Buy so you can just buy it - don't open it. Wait a couple weeks to see if there is an epic deal (likely a little more money but maybe 32GB ram, 2TB drive or maybe a card like the stronger 7700XT) you can score. If not, first week of December crack it open and make sure its all good then enjoy it

Get that awesome $800-$1k deal? Return this in person, no sweat, no shipping.

This being a DDR5 version vs a DDR4 kit is already a step up in its favor.

Anyone have experience with Ibuypower? I've been scoping prebuilts to grab one for myself to upgrade from my old HP that has a 1060 3gb gpu and cannot run a lot of modern games. From what I've seen of deals around here recently this looks to be pretty good in comparison for systems with a 4060. Anyone know if ibuypower uses any proprietary hardware? I'd like to be able to have the option to upgrade stuff going forward rather than being stuck with something like my HP that has a few proprietary parts that make it difficult to do so.

Ended up getting in for one, thanks for posting.

Given that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8gb) is $300 this seems like a pretty good deal.

Looking for a budget gaming rig for my son. Not sure if I should wait a bit in hopes of a 4060ti for only slightly more or just bite the bullet here.

For $700 this is a good deal and great for 1080p gaming. I do suggest waiting for cyber Monday though for deals.

IIRC, the lowest price point for a legit entry-level gaming PC like this seems to be right about $699. Just bit the bullet myself. There's probably been lower but those seem to be the kind of deals I can never catch in stock.

Looking to get my first gaming desktop so pretty ignorant to specs. What's the best specs we should shoot for around this price point?

The same deal is also available in-store. Any advantage of buying on eBay vs Best Buy?

Doubt it.

Prebuilt prices don't really go THAT much lower than an equivalent build with the asbolute cheapest, bottom of the barrel components.

Piecing this out (and choosing the cheapest ram, mobo, SSD, power supply, and case) is already around $650.

Yeah prebuilt manufacturers get parts for cheaper than consumers, but I wouldn't expect this to go any lower than it already is.

For a similar PC, i paid $825 last year so this is a fantastic deal. If you're looking to run max settings on the newest games, you'll need at least a 4070ti.

It's easier to return at a physical best buy store than to ship the PC back to their ebay vendor location.
