Is this a good deal? The RX 7800XT is priced at $500 regularly. I was looking at the Microcenter mobo combo of 32gb ram and a Ryzen 5 7600x3d for $400 to $450. From what I understand, the 7600x3d is better suited for gaming despite being a lower in the tier list.
Edit: The Micocenter combo would cost more in the long term, but I can pick parts that i want. TBH I don't even need a 7800Xt until fall 2025, but need a new pc for the household. Can't just go with one working laptop and a barely working relic that can't be upgraded to Windows 11.

No, you can get a better deal for the same price and better GPU.

Thanks, I guess it
The GRE looks good and more capable

It makes sense to wait for a better GPU deal when it's needed a bit later. The priority is getting a a pc that's needed by the household for MS Office, pdf and photot creation/editing, usability for someone who prefers windows for utility stuff (bills, etc) instead of a phone. The capable gpu is simply an extra on top of the main need. Time is ticking to get a Windows 11 pc for 2025

The more I think about it, the more the Microtenter deal looks good. $450 for 32gb ram, a mobo, and an ryzen 7600x3d.
