Dual 4K at that size would make it extremely difficult to read and not overly useful for productivity apps. The benefit of 4K in a business setting (except for graphics design) Is clarity of text. A 49 in ultrawide 1440 is the same as 2 27 in screens And a 45-in ultrawide is the same as two 24-in screens. That's getting down to the point where you're getting to be a little on the small side for 4K resolution. 24-in seems to be the smallest that is really beneficial for 4K resolution.. My 15.6-in laptop is a 4K display (2400p) And at 100% font and native resolution it's impossible to use.

Why no one offers 45-49 inch ultrawides in Dual 4K 2160 resolution so far?
For productivity for doing work (at say 120 Hz), surely a powerful GPU is not needed, right?
Don't people want to have multiple apps on the monitor? That's where 4K is needed. Is it just me who wants that?

the deal summary says it has USB PD 90 watts, but one of the comments for the product says this:
Quote :
You cannot charge your Mac directly with the LG 45" UltraGear™ QHD 1ms 200Hz Curved Gaming Monitor with VESA DisplayHDR™ 600, Model # 45GR65DC-B.

It does not have a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery (PD)...^Ivan.
but then the manual says this:

Quote :
USB-C connection
Transmits digital video and audio signals from your PC to the monitor.
NOTE
• PD (Power Delivery) and DP Alternate Mode (DP over USB-C) are supported via
USB-C Port.

soooo wtf does it or not?

EDIT: ahh the manual also says (Only for 45GR75DC) which is NOT this model, this model does NOT have PD

This or the Deco Gear 49". I know LG is better brand but it is 45".

I would love to have USB power delivery but this model doesn't seem to have it.

I have the USB C PD version of this monitor, and I love that feature. Owned for almost a year now and it's great for work and play. I love just plugging my work laptop in to one cord to charge and use for display. I'd say it's worth it hold out of for that feature if you need it!
