I love these grinders. They run smooth and are plenty powerful enough to do any job than can be asked of it in an automotive repair and body shop environment. There are times I'll either grind welds or perform surface prep for the majority of an 8-10 hour day and this grinder doesn't even flinch. Currently have three as it's much easier to just pick up the one that has either a grinding stone, cutting disk or knotted wire wheel already mounted. Noticed the other day I have one of each -- A G12SR2, G12SR3 and a G12SR4 spanning Hitachi's transition to Metabo HPT. The SR3's bearing has just become a little wonky (first glitch from any of the grinders) so at this price it's difficult not to acquire another. I'll either replace the bearing or simply relegate it to parts donor status as, while there has been some changes in design, I believe there are many parts still interchangeable.
