You bought two for free? Nice.

Anyway, for a free tablet, you should have done your research. Plenty of youtube vids showing the value that this tablet has compared to it's more expensive siblings. The tablet is great for media consumption. Big bright screen with great resolution. Quad speakers, microsd slot, metal build. Sure it's a little laggy, but it was free, right? Right.

Question for those that got in on the last deal. Anyway to flash a clean Metro bloat free firmware on these? I thought the US cellular firmware would be bloat free, but was not able to flash the tablet, even with patched odin.
you can't flash another firmware but you can change the csc

Over the last year of this deal coming and going I've gotten many of these when they're available, solely for trade in / resale purpose. I've used them for casual tasks and even tried gaming. I can say with complete confidence this tablet is total trash! It is slow, laggy, annoying to use!

Only positive is great speakers and decent screen. However, both of those are no use if you have to watch things freeze and slow down with something as simple as web browsing or YouTube.

Not even worth the headache to give to a kid, because the kid will come to you complaining how it's slow and freezes.

I was able to get 5 of these last time they were this price. I'm blocked on both accounts I was using. Frown.

Activate them on their site when they ship and you can buy another. I also was able to buy the last two by chatting with their support and letting them place the order for me by adding each of the two lines (one at a time).

My account is in suspended state since yesterday. I requested a one time extension (good for 72 hours) and was able to order online for $20. Not sure what will happen, if they will ship it or not.
How to request a one time extension?

Got one last time for $20, but back then unlock was 6 months, now it's 12 months. So, unless you actually want to use it, quite a long time. I think for usability the FE tablet is a much better device, but you'll shell out more funds. I think I have seen deals for around 300-350 for the FE, which is a great tablet.

Got the FE for a family member on a former Samsung deal and they are super happy with it.

Agree, can't be beaten for free, just know its limits and don't try to do something beyond its capacity. Sure, not great for general web browsing etc as it is too slow (it is the 4Gb version, not the 8Gb one) but the quad speakers are clear and loud and the picture quality is quite good. Better than the cheapest fire tablets for sure

When I joined tmobile back in 2011 it was ghetto garbage, but they aspired to be above and beyond expectation. They always failed. They now are the most overpriced providers available. That's for the many years of service.

I have to agree. I got this tablet from opening up another $10 T-mobile tablet line. This tablet was discounted to $49. The CPU is slow and everything on this tablet is pretty much lags.
