I am getting that stupid Please contact us to complete your order. BS on both of my accounts.
I hate metro even with these great deals
bought 2x these last time for free and it is a P.O.Shite. only good for photo slide show viewers. slow azz molazzes e-waste. you have been warned.
You bought two for free? Nice.

Anyway, for a free tablet, you should have done your research. Plenty of youtube vids showing the value that this tablet has compared to it's more expensive siblings. The tablet is great for media consumption. Big bright screen with great resolution. Quad speakers, microsd slot, metal build. Sure it's a little laggy, but it was free, right? Right.

It is OOS at the moment.

I will say buy the second one if you really need it. It won't block you, but don't try more as others mentioned, i.e., different name and same shipping address.

Metro is weird as it allowed some customers to buy multiple iPhones without a ban (maybe existing T-Mobile customers), but it is all YMMV.
Okay, thanks. It may well come back into stock, so I'll give it a think. Don't want to risk wasting a chance to get something we'd use a lot on another deal. I don't think we really need a 2nd tablet, as my husband may let it sit for months at a time, like he does the Kindle tablet. He even prefers to read books on the laptop app.

I tried to order a second one and got the "call there was a problem" screen. I actually did call and it was pretty smooth to order a second one on the phone. The csr told me that it was good I ordered today as the promo will end soon. No more deatails on that last nugget.

I just ordered a second one tonight. I ordered the first one before the weekend, arrived yesterday, and activated later that night. This is on a $75 Moto Edge line I ordered a little over a week ago, then received and activated a full day before I ordered the first tablet. I've noticed it going out of stock a few times in recent weeks, but seems to be available again the next day. This is the only Metro deal/account for me this year.

did it work for you? I tried ordering on the phone and it still wouldn't let me. They keep saying my card has a lock on it. When I called my bank, they said it's not. So it must be metro but there's nothing the customer service can do.
I finally gave a try today. And same error. So seem like Limit of 2 per address.

Do you have to open the box to activate the tablet?
Also, where do you go to turn off auto payment? Will that also stop the auto-pay for my phone?

Similar question. The tablet was shipped and activated last week. Auto pay is currently off as I usually pay before the due at the end of the month. I also have an existing 2 phone lines. I don't see an option to just cancel the tablet line and keep my phone lines. Do I need to call/ contact Metro to cancel the tablet line?

Note sure how it works with Metro, but you should be able to port out individual lines. Some carriers have $5 plans (e.g. Tello). I think US Mobile let you port in a number for their free trial.

Is the stock status up to date? I ordered one on Wednesday but it hasn't been shipped. They usually ship the order the day after.

Edit: never mind - it was shipped this morning.

Is getting any more than one tablet a risk of being blocked from future deals? Would it just affect deals on tablets, or on phones, too? I'm thinking of getting a second tablet for my husband. He'll probably use it only once in a blue moon, though, so don't know if I should bother. Definitely don't want to bother if it could block me from a future deal we definitely would use.
They blocked my IP address, even I have 2 accounts.
1 account ordered only 1 phones, 1 tablet
My wife account ordered only 1 phone.
Now I can order but cannot get any promotion.

Wow, good to know. I already decided not to get a second because my husband said he really wouldn't use it. Glad I didn't try for a second.

Did you try porting in a number previously and was not able to complete the order? If so, you have a pending port on the account which needs to be cancelled before you can add another line. You can call the porting department directly at 800-518-7519. Once they cancel the pending port you should then be able to order another device.

I finally was able to order a tablet after activating the 72hr grace extension and then calling the porting department to cancel a pending port from a month ago. The tablet is estimated to arrive on Monday which is after the 72hr grace period expires, so I won't be able to physically activate the device while my account is still active (I'll only be able to activate the line once it ships). It'll be interesting to see whether it unlocks in a year. I'll also try to order a 2nd one after this one ships and I activate the line.
