I daily drive these cause my dogs have eaten my better earbuds. The sound is quite good for being open earbuds. I do find them uncomfortably hard and pressing on my earlobes. It's not like actively painful, but you do get like weird phantom aches even after you take them off. The newest version seems to have a bit more flexibility, but I don't know if that means they are more likely to come off. I've never worried about them falling out.

Got this for $25 from tiktok shop while there's a crazy promotion. And I would say the quality is not best for sure, after 5 months use there are cracks in the mid connect section, the plastic just start to peel off. And the Bluetooth will not disconnect even if I put everything back in the case and closed it.
Good thing is the Anker customer support are great, they just sent me a new one with any questions asked. BTW, the SN number is easily wear off on the ear buds, but you can find it on the APPs.
The second pair they sent me is a newer model, so far no issue. But the material seems like the same, not sure how long it will last. It's not that comfortable on your earlobe, you will need keep adjust the position sometimes. The similar one from Bose use the rubber on the connector part makes more sense from where I see.but the price is like 4 times than this one.If it's under 40$ I would think it's no brainer steal. But for $49 I will pass, there are more better choices like galaxy buds FE etc with better quality as the same price range.

btw this review isn't for this specific anker c30i but for a similar ear-clip/earring type outside-of-ear earbud that I bought from that woot $5 bluetooth sale last week. These earbud clip types have similar issues.

This ear-clip type earbuds have an odd fit and like the other commenters have stated, the fit on these types is random due to the clip size and varying ear sizes.

I have also done the "wet dog shake" on these, and these really don't come off easily.

Both sets also use capacitive touch buttons, meaning no physical buttons to be pressed which has mostly caused errors and paused my music when I adjust them. I've never been a fan of these capacitive buttons on earbuds or headphones either and have triggered them more times accidentally than intentionally.

These are designed to leak sound in and aren't meant to be noise-cancelling (either by way of passive or active nc). The best way I can describe the sound would be how you tilt headphones a little bit off your ear so that you can still hear the TV or listen to someone talk.

Overall: I buy a lot of bluetooth devices and for $50 I'd say this is a hard pass due to the design type, and overall price for quality. At this price point you'd be better off buying the tried and true Sony WF-C510s or the cheaper $20 lipstick box soundcore A30i on the fp right now or clip-style sport earbuds like the Soundcore AeroFit 2 for $79 or Soundcore V20i for $32 or similar types for cheaper on amazon.
