I got this for my work after watching the Torque Test Channel. This and the Vessel are the ones I use the most. The bits provided with this Skil screwdriver are Harbor Freight quality so I paired it with my Milwaukee bit set.

For the price, you really can't beat the power on this thing. It doesn't have a fancy case or extra bits, but it works great when assembling furniture and doing some casual maintenance. It beat out a lot of far more expensive powered drivers.
It's still a bit of a niche product as you can always just pull out a powered drill/driver, but it's much smaller and charges with usbc.

Does it do a good job of holding a charge? Usually when I don't want to break out the drill I just us a ratcheting screwdriver for speed or convenience. So I wouldn't want to have to worry about charging this thing before using it.

Had it. Much prefer worx 242. Even the Walmart hyper tough was as good or better (lights) for cheaper. If you look into these deeper, you realize its the size of the battery that makes the difference

The Amazon Basics by Skil is the clear choice based on performance (Options 3 and 4), it's just a matter of whether you want the carrying case and extra bits for $6 dollars more. I opted for the one with the carrying case just to keep everything organized.

I got this last year with the Black Friday sale. This is my favorite power tool. Bought a couple extra for gifts. Highly recommend it.

I have a similar Worx stick screwdriver that I bought from Sam's Club. It's fantastic. Great for putting together furniture or other similar items. Much more convenient to use than a drill/driver for small stuff and it's convenient to charge with USB-C. I'd recommend getting one if you have a use for it. I keep it around for electronics work as well. It's a great junk drawer tool.

Do these screwdrivers overtighten and try to jam it in like an impact driver or does this screwdriver stop nicely to prevent striping of the screw

Can someone explain this to me?

"not support USB-C to USB-C)"

I have a usb-c lighted vest that I found out did not work with a usb-c to usb-c charger. I thought it was a fluke since it is a cheaply made item. But apparently its a thing?

They probably mean PD charging standards. I have a handful of cheaper devices that won't work with my fancier 100w usb c charging bricks, but if I charge them with a basic usb A 5w charger they work just fine.

As an aside, this thing is stupid powerful for the price. You can actually drive screws into wood with it, unlike the other ones for this price which are more for swapping outlet faceplates. First time I used it I twisted my wrist because I wasn't expecting that much torque. Holds a charge too, I've had this for about 6 months now and haven't had to recharge it yet.

Looks like it controls torque output by limiting the current or voltage. I don't trust these types of electronic limits because they are always very crude and changes based on battery level. There are plenty of cheap small electric screwdrivers with a mechanical torque slipping clutch that is much better suited for protecting small screws from stripping.
