Just returned our gateway this am. After a big outage earlier this week, this AM we woke to no internet. Tmo pushed an update to our gateway and bricked it. Our billing cycle starts on the 20th. Today is the 21st, they said they will cancel it next bill cycle - $46.45/mo for a service that barely worked and now I owe an extra month for a service I can't even use. Before the outage and before they bricked our gateway, it was pretty rough to use it. We could see speeds in the 70mpbs range at most, but it would drop and doing a zoom call across it was not feasible.
Did this last year for a free 43" Fire TV and fought them for 6 months and never got the TV rebate I followed all rules on. Be careful
A 4 series 43" is more of the "current" model, while they still sell the 2 series for ~80$ less at 150$. Just a general idea on value / recency of what you are getting.

Try buying for business and it may be magically available.
I did the same. They play these games a lot.

I have had TMobile Home Internet for at least two years and it's been great here. I got the $200 gift card, no problem. Did all this through my brother's family plan which is a grandfathered plan for 9 lines. For me that ends up at $15/month unlimited phone/text/data plus $35 wifi which is a great deal compared to what I had before. My only problem was a loose fitting power cord which caused it to lose power intermittently. Once I corrected that it's been super and saves me money.

Been stuck with DSL in a rural area since 2018, typically 40-60 download and 5-10 upload.

Just received my T-Mobile gateway yesterday. With it in the entertainment center in my living room, I'm getting 220-250 download and 35-45 upload. This has been consistent (so far) early evening, night time and this morning. Same speeds through Ethernet as well.

Plan to put it through its paces during the trial period, but so far very impressed!

Signed up for a home internet plan in the store literally yesterday. What are the chances I can get this applied?
I stopped by the store yesterday afternoon with intent to try their system at my home; there was a line and nobody even acknowledged my presence so I left all that with them. Looks like I would have missed out on this deal. (thank anxiety)

They tell me you can carry this with you in your vehicle, like a cell phone!!

Did it all online, sounds good. Telecommunications companies are typically crooks from the get-go. Hoping this one will be different(honest). Said they have no "creep" initiation for the billing.

I have had TMO internet for over 2 years now and I live in a major city. Their internet is a hit and miss. the goo's is I get 200+ mbps consistently, but the bad is there are multiple outages every week on a consistent basis, sometimes just in a day. Most of them last a couple minutes and would come back automatically, but here and there it would require a router restart. Their tech supports are useless, every time I called they would give you the usual run around and troubleshooting and then come back with we didn't find anything wrong and just restart the router. It's annoying but I've learned to live with it since I only pay $30/mo(with autopay), vs $70 that I used to pay Spectrum.

Has anyone who signed up a week ago at the $35 price had any luck getting T-Mo to honor/apply the $30 promotion to your account?

Super annoyed by this. It was $30 for months with a $200 sign up bonus and then the week before Black Friday they inexplicably raise it to $35, then not 5 days later they backtrack and lower it back down to $30. Leaves a super sour taste in your mouth.

I recommend you use the trial window and test at different times of day and night. If you look at the sub Reddit and forums some people have great service. Others do not. I wasn't so lucky.

Heads up about the Internet. I installed
It and ran several tests. If you live next to a tower, you will get a decent download speed. However; expect lag for online gaming. The ping is super high. I ran multiple tests and I was getting under 25/30 ping with Xfinity and was getting pings as high as 300 with this. I live right next to a tower.
This works for regular movie streaming and everyday use. It will be an issue for anyone that uses online gaming.

Thinking about ending our Tmobile Home 5G internet because of this exact reason. Constant drops and freezing over zoom calls and other video calls, even when there is excellent signal. Never had a single issue with AT&T and Verizon in the area.

T-mobile started out okay but their service degraded too much to the point I may just eat the time cost and switch to another internet provider.
