I've always been able to contact customer service and have them use the new license code to extend the current subscription. If you tried adding it manually, you'd just replace your old one with the new one, losing however much time was left on the old one. Or you could wait until the old one expired and then add the new one yourself.

Is this the latest version from Norton or is there a 2025 version that will come out?

Since Norton is now a subscription, you'll always be able to update to the latest version (within your subscription period).

Can we buy 2 licenses and activate one license after a year, so you get a total of 2 years?

You can contact support and ask them to stack them. I think Norton allows you to stack them for up to 4 years.

Just use Microsoft Defender. It's as good as any standalone virus detector.

Does anyone use these bloated third party antivirus tools anymore? I solely use a Mac now, but I remember in the windows days how much paint it was to uninstall one of these packages after we finding out that they cripple the OS

I know some people who aren't comfortable with computers and may need some protection like this, I suggest using defender and malwarebytes. Dont buy this crappy piece of software

Too many free software to keep things running smoothly. Norton was a must for their VPN since it was cheap but after switching to PIA I never looked back. Norton keeps calling me to renew my subscription though.
