Decided to go for it. Seems this is the better $ to Wh power for 1070h. One of the better deals I have seen so far and I been eyeing these for a while. This deal is right next to the dual 200W ugreen solar panels - so this may be a good combo to try.[/QUOTE
Reading reviews on Amazon, one person said you cannot use other brand solar panels due to their proprietary connections.Just thought you might want to check that out first.
The solar input connectors aren't proprietary, they're just standard 8mm DC barrel connectors. It's not the usual for solar connectors which confuses folks.

A simple adapter will resolve the issue.

bingo, nothing proprietary about jackery's solar inputs. they are just 8mm barrels, but with 2 distinctions

the larger power stations use DC8020, the smaller ones use DC7909. adapters can be found on amazon for under $10, or from jackery for $20

Looks really good. Pitty I already ordered and they marked it as shipped instantly (I think they just created shipping label). And it cannot be returned
Refuse the shipment. They can't charge you if you don't accept the package(s)

What is the voltage and amperage limit on solar input charging on this? The only thing making me consider the Delta 2 similarly priced over this, is D2 is capable of 500 watt solar charging versus 400 watt this is. I was considering getting one of these to power my fridge between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. during high power rates to help with my power bill. I see this has two separate solar input Barrel plugs. does that mean I can't use my 400 watt solar panels to charge this? I have a 160 watt solar panel and a 200 W solar panel both with generic mc4 cables. can I get two adapter plugs to use both these solar panels and get good efficiency? all my other power stations say not to mix and match different rated solar panels

Per other people's calculation the fridge consumes roughly 0.5 kWh in 4 hours. Average US electricity cost is 16 cents/kWh. So probably not much save consider the initial investment. But I guess you can also use it for other purpose.

Got this 6 weeks ago. Been using it full time on my fridge, with a solar panel feeding into it. My fridge takes .8kwh per day, but the AC inverter eats a constant 10w, so at this time of year the setup is actually wasting more grid electricity. For that reason, I will manually plug in whenever the measly panel can fill it up. I have a 54c kwh rate. A fridge can inrush at more than 1kw, so even though the compressor will run at 140w, your battery must be able to supply the surge, which this can do. The fridge will also go into defrost mode where it will consume 400w for the resistive heating coils.

The app is fine. Does the basics. I purchased another one of these since I think they are a good deal.

I'm about to get it, but everyone asking or commenting about power consumption...

everyone's power drain and appliance are different... new fridge might draw less, but do you open it? does it have an ice maker that does fancy statues for your cosmo?

my CPAP is gonna run full blast on it, so I'm getting this instead of a 500 kwhr.

I'm torn between this and the solix, but for 100 less, I'll take this ugly overhyped box. They're all prone to problems and you only hear the complaints. it's good enough to bribe Guga.
Get a DC adapter for your cpap too, tt will use less power.

Happy to help.

FYI, I believe the Jackery 1000 v2 will need a DC7909 male plug, not DC8020.

edit

Confirmed the 1000 v2 uses DC8020 plugs.

Does it have an app to control ports? Is it expendable?
Yes app controls ports. No, it's not expandable. Expendable if you're rich I guess.

So tempted. I'm to decide between this or the Ecoflow deal for $399. I was really hoping for the Bluetti AC180P deal to drop more. Any thoughts? Could need a tie breaker between this and ecoflow deal.

Thanks.

The Jackery website has the 1000 v2 listed as "compatible" for their DC8020 to DC7909 adapter which had me confused (thinking it took DC7909).

I see now reviews on Amazon confirm it takes 8020.

Can you please explain what makes the bluetti better that makes it worth waiting for?
