Costco is $899 but comes with the extra warranty. Worth spending the extra $50 there.

I prefer to buy from Best Buy at $849 because I think their shipping/returns are better and I find they're the easiest to do a price match with if the price goes down further. Just my $.02 though.

Prices in spring will be $1399 + for MBA. Usually those are intro prices. To get it this low you will have to wait edu prices which usually kick in around august September

Costco store rep told me Macbooks have no extended warranty anymore other than manufacturer 12 months. Is there any other additional warranty that you're referring to?

I believe it's a 2nd year warranty through Costco. They do this with a lot of their products, appliances, etc.
