Seems like a great deal, wondering if we'll see more in this range as we get closer to BF/Cyber Monday

How does this compare to the $89 Samsung monitor at Costco/Sam's Club? Thanks!

I think yes. The smallish bezel is nice too.

No Displayport
No need at these specs. A simple DP to HDMI cable works perfect.

My only concern is 27" vs 24" for 1080p at close sitting range. I think a 1080p 24" will look sharper and Best Buy has a sweet deal on a 180hz MSI IPS 24" for $85 shipped. Reviews of the MSI are very good in terms of color accuracy and it's 300 nits.

You can see the pixels sitting close up. I don't recomend a 27" at 1080p. 1440p is the bare minimum for 27"

This is obviously a gaming monitor.

Are there any games that require a refresh rate of higher than 120Hz to work?

My wife uses two of these Acer monitors for WFH and she likes them. For less than $200 (on sale) for both, it's a good price.

Just get rid of the VGA port that almost no one uses these days
