It's crazy how this is fairly similar to last year's Walmart Black Friday MSI Codex R (i5-13400F, RTX 4060 8GB, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) for $699, except slightly better processor. I guess it's proof that you can't expect prices to drop that much in a one year period.
The specs just say "B760 WiFi." While it doesn't list a mobo brand the 760 boards I seen all have the extra nvme and 4 rams slots. The images appear to show it as well.
Can anyone recommend a monitor for this PC? Mostly for gaming purposes. Thank you in advance!
You'll likely be playing most games at 1080P, so virtually any monitor that fits your budget and size requirements will work.
Most will say you absolutely need a VA panel, but there's a new crop of 100Hz IPS panels that don't have as much of a problem with ghosting as the monitor purists always complain about.
If there's even a slight chance you might catch a movie or work on a spreadsheet or do photo editing, consider one of those IPS panels. The stark difference in contrast and color accuracy over a VA panel is worth it.
Not bad for the price
the downside is the 4060 only has 8GB of Vram when you really need 12GB now a days but if you are only doing 1080P gaming should be fine.
i7 vs i5
32 gb ram vs 16 gb
2tb vs 1tb storage
Other differences...?
If you can afford both, Id get the costco for more warranty. But honestly, hold out a little longer if you can, I think you'll find something a little better closer to blackfriday. Just watch this site like a hawk and a few killer deals will pop.
