As with other retailers, Dell has Sony controllers marked down $20. For those of you that took advantage of their Alienware gamer days(linked here) during the summer/fall you should be able to get a controller for next to nothing by redeeming your Dell credit from that. Hope this helps someone remember they did that promo and to spend their Dell credit.
I was able to get the newer Cobalt Blue for $5.01 after tax and shipping.

Personally, I'd go new just because I am now starting to experience joystick drift with one of my controllers. The open box excellent may not have been used at all and might be basically brand new, but with my now experience, I'd go brand new. This deal, or I should say the sale price is at multiple retailers right now (Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart etc.) so if you have cashback or credits to any of those, better to go there. When your old controller develops stick drift, open it up and clean out of the contact points. There are plenty of YouTube videos and it's an easy fix.

Not a good price. The battery in this thing sucks and it's the most uncomfortable controller I've ever used. And the drifting is really bad. Just a terrible product.
