1k views and no comments? Looks like a great deal but is it a great vacuum as the rtings.com article purports?
How would this vacuum fare for a ~1000 sq ft condo with all LVP flooring? No pets. I'm a new first time homeowner and never thought about vacuums until now. I bought a used tineco off FB marketplace which has been laughably pitiful. Worst $100 I ever spent. Been waiting until Black Friday to snag a proper serious vacuum cleaner. Cordless would be nice but not a dealbreaker. I just want to invest in a good vacuum that will not drive me crazy, actually pick up stuff, and will last a good set of years.
I'm a vacuum noob. I would appreciate insight from our experienced vacuum aficionados!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and returned it 5 days later. From 100% charge, I was unable to vacuum my 1,100sqft hardwood main floor before needing to recharge. Likewise, it could not handle my 800sqft carpeted basement.

I exchanged it for the upright, plug-in Stratos and it's far, far better for the same price ($220 on sale). Sure it's a little bit larger, but it still fits in my small hall closet.

This is good to know. Aside from gripes about battery life, do you feel like there are any other issues or lacking points?

I picked up the Dyson digital slim then exchanged it for the Shark Stratos. The Digital slim was a lot more ergonomic, easier to maneuver, better trash ejection mechanism and have better build quality.

Everything else the stratos is better. Better suction, cleaning, longer lasting battery life, etc.

Can this handle a drill battery conversion?

Other than the battery life, the only other complaint I have is the noise. It's not that it's loud, but that in its automatic mode it ramps the suction power up and down based upon the floor surface and amount of dirt it detects, so the up and down is really irritating as opposed to a constant droning noise.

That said, if you run it on the lowest power setting in manual mode, it's very quiet and constant.

In for one. I have an old shark navigator that's still working great. I also have a Dyson animal v2 , and a cordless older Dyson. The shark feels sturdier than my dysons. Not sure why everyone looses their mind over that brand. I was cross shopping this with the D v15, and v12. I don't like the idea of needing to swap out the head when I want good fur pickup and debris. We have a few furry friends and a messy two year old. Needing to swap heads for best coverage seemed backwards. Hopefully this strata is as solid as our old navigator. Thanks OP.

1,200 ft home. Two young kids and a large dog that blows his coat twice a year. This or Dyson Digital Slim?

Many complaints regarding battery life, isn't that the reason for cordless?!

I bought the model without the odor puck and different attachments from Walmart when it was posted here a few weeks ago. It's replacing my older cordless Shark. It does have powerful suction. I'm not sure I'm thrilled with the auto adjusting suction, as someone else mentioned it's annoying sounding. I just put my AirPods in to drown out the sound. The battery lasts long enough for me to clean my 6 bedroom 3500sq ft house without the battery dying.

The warranty is easier to use of you but direct from shark. They stand behind their products.
