Why do you prefer this over the vivobook? Because of the RAM and storage upgrade? Or does this one have better build quality
Wondering how the battery life will compare to the lunar lake chips.
Processor: Lenovo has older but faster Ultra 7 Gen 1 processor. Asus has newer Ultra 5 Gen 2 processor, more power efficient and potentially better for AI.
Memory: Lenovo has 32 GB memory, at lower bandwidth. Asus has 16 GB memory, at higher bandwidth
Disk: Lenovo has 1 TB disk, while Asus has 500 GB
Display: Lenovo is touchscreen at 400 nits. Asus is not touchscreen but 600 nits (brighter)
Build: Lenovo is renowned for build quality, but the laptop is also heavier by 0.5 lbs
Other: Lenovo is certified refurbished but comes with a 2 year warranty
No clear answer on which one is better. Decide based on what is important for oryou. For me, RAM was the deciding factor to make the laptop more future-proof
This seems like a third party refurbish? What is being refurbished? Is the battery replaced?
I would never buy 3rd party refurbished off eBay even with the crappy squaretrade warranty that's gonna be a hassle. I've gotten stuff straight up damaged and used sold as 3rd party refurbished off eBay. Only the official Acer store can be trusted on there
Costco back with $900 deal for this laptop and you can try the hack I gave last time ( buy instacart gift cards and order through sameday.costco.com to get it for $700)

I was concerned about the certified refurbished part, but it does come with a 2 year warranty
