picked one up at Lowes, for the same price. Unfortunately, the ratcheting mechanism binds and skips. Don't know if they all do that, but I much prefer my Williams, Wera and Vessel!

I believe you got a dud. Mines does not bind and skip, although I have not used it yet for heavy torque. My only complaint is it is heavy, not really something you would want to carry in a portable kit. I have a Klein ratcheting screwdriver that is lighter and feels better in the hands. The crafstman has the advantage of reaching tighter spots with the two flat and philips blade set.
