look up lofta, just did it last year. Paid about $150 oop for the home test. Pretty smooth process, you do a quick preinterview with a PA/MD, they send out a kit. you send it back and depending on the results you schedule a quick call with a sales person and they send you the rx. You can then take it anywhere or shop at lofta for a cpap. They will also PM other prices if you find anything cheaper. The whole process probably took about 2 weeks for me, from getting the first consultation to having my cpap in hand.
Do you snore like a freight train do you awake in the middle of the night gasping for air then you might need it. Schedule yourself a sleep study quickly, if left unchecked can lead to heart issues, reduced life expectancy
If you think you snore and aren't getting a good nights sleep get a cheap digital recorder and record yourself sleeping. I did and it was scary. Scheduled a sleep study next day and have been using a cpap ever since.

I was on the Resmed 10 for 5 years and 3 months ago received the Resmed 11.
I can't tell any difference to the performance between the two, but find the water tank on the Resmed 10 a lot better and less prone to spilling.
Mine was through ApaptHeath and Anthem Blue Cross insurance - not sure if there's any benefit going with this GREAT deal if you have insurance cover.

I have one of these; just ordered a second one as a backup/travel machine.

This is a great price; lowest I think its ever been from a reputable supplier.

I think I paid the insurance company more money for them to cover the purchase of this machine than what's listed here. Insurance companies be scammers.

This is for resmed 10 and 11 and some others.
The 11's water tank is way smaller than the 10. Have to refill it every few days. Other than that, everything else is improved

Does this come with mask and all other accessories or just the machine?

I can't comment on the 10, but I've had the 11 for over 2 years and really like it. The only thing I wish I would change is how you fill the water tank. Difficult to get to max level without spilling water.

The Aussie ResMed rep on youtube will show you how to fill it without the mess.

I wear a size 18 shirt and I snore. I told ENT that I did not want to pay for a sleep study. The sleep study was $3000 at the time. Surgery for sleep apnea does not have excellent outcomes. I asked to skip the recommended sleep study.

I love the CPAP. I have only missed 2 nights using it in 6 years. I have not been back to the doc.

I could immediately sleep in the same bed as my wife again.

CPAP tips.

1. Use Nasacort 2 hours before sleep. Any congestion makes it harder.
2. Use Chapstick to help seal lips.

I currently use an Airsense 10 every night, i was wondering if this is a worthy upgrade or if the Mini is more worth it as a second machine?

Is the 11 worth the extra $$$?
The 11 is the updated version with a much slicker interface. However, the 10 is a tad quieter. It is claimed that the 11 has a more advanced algorithm. Most people (including myself) don't really see it. So, that kind of sums it up. The masks are interchangeable, but the hoses are not. They keep saying that the 10 will be phased away, but that has not happened. So, is the 11 worth 100 dollars more? Not really, unless you really want a touch screen instead of a scroll wheel interface.

For those that want one of these on the cheap and without a prescription, FB marketplace is full of them. Just make sure it's working and check hours. I'm a Resmed bipap user and have bought 3 extras for backup/keep-in-car for cheap and all were in perfect condition with low hours.
Could you put this into perspective? What would be considered excessive hours (enough to avoid)?
