Easy to spray with cooking oil and put them in the toaster oven. The bigger issue (for Costco members at least) is the price @ $7.72/lb. By me the Costco everyday price for organic unroasted cashews is $7/lb, and I've seen them on sale for under $6/lb.

Often times they are used for other purposes. My wife will soak them and then blend them into a creamy sauce when she needs to make a nondairy dish for someone. You wouldn't want to use cashews that were already roasted for that.

I think some people also perform the magical feat of milking raw cashews 😜

I rely on Yupik for quite some time..I regularly buy their pumpkin seeds and cocoa powder, though not all of their products are priced competitively
