Delivery time (currently Dec 9-20) is not ideal, but I don't think it kills the deal. This is still $50 cheaper than Best Buy or Apple Edu and will arrive in time for Xmas.

Managed to get the 13" 1TB model for 1325 in used "acceptable condition". But the iPad came in practically new condition. So I'd say watch out for used items discount prices. Maybe they made a mistake. It had only 11 full battery cycles and no scratches or dents.

Not too far from a base MacBook Pro M4.
Each has its strong points.
If apps are your focus. iPad all day.
If it's productivity and school. Definitely MacBook.
